Hihiri Pipiri Digital Auditorium presents "Independent Global Art Festival"
Hihiri Pipiri, a non-profit artist-run Community Center and Borderless Creative Network based in Santiniketan, West Bengal, announces their Independent Global Art Festival, an upcoming 5-day online experience, carefully curated by Iasonas Psarakis (Greek Sitarist & Hihiri Pipiri Co-Founder). This distinctly diverse event features 50 artists from 14 countries including India, Greece, Iran, Bangladesh, Canada, China, Sri Lanka, Japan, Thailand, USA, Italy, Belgium, and France. The artists are distinguished in their fields and celebrate a variety of traditions, musical (Indian Classical, Iranian Classical, Ethnic, Folk, Yarsan, Bengal Baul, Contemporary, Instrumental, Fusion, Sufi, Byzantine, Japanese Honkyoku, and Chamber) and visual (Painting, Performance Art, Dance, Puppetry, Ceramics, Costume, and Creative Rituals).
“Together we are hosting this festival, adapting to the new limitations of our world by indulging in the expansion of it – creativity in this unique connected, global moment. This is our first online exhibition, generated for the inclusion of all music and art lovers right now at home who are missing the special feeling of encountering the world, stepping out into a venue or gallery or street corner and discovering something which really speaks to you. Something which redirects your mind toward the light.
